The primary responsibility of the Collections Specialist is to manage and oversee the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.Responsibilities:Contact clients to follow up on outstanding payments and arrange payment plansReview and analyze account balances to identify delinquent accountsNegotiate payment terms to ensure timely collection of debtsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activitiesCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment issuesPrepare and send collection letters and notices as neededMonitor and track payment statuses and update collection database accordinglyProvide regular reports and updates to management on collection activities and progressQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in collections or accounts receivable preferredStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collection softwareKnowledge of collection laws and regulations is a plusAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesIf you are a motivated and proactive individual with a passion for collections, we encourage you to apply for the Collections Specialist position.
