Quality Manager - TygervalleyFull job descriptionPaysAfrique du SudLieuSouth AfricaLieu de travailCAPE TOWN-TYGER VALLEY CHAMBERS 2(ZAF)Société employeurTotalEnergies RenewablesDomaineProjets IndustrielsType de contratCDIExpérienceMinimum 6 ansProfil du candidatThe main purpose of this position is to interact and hold responsible all EPC quality workstreams to deliverinstallations on schedule within engineering specifications, accepted and signed off on time by suitably qualifiedinspectors.Leads QA/QC Team (Project Company and Owner`s Engineer) to manage quality of works, including Factor Testing & Inspection.Reviews, agree and monitor the EPC Project Quality PlanCommunicates the quality plan and its objectives to staff, Owner`s Engineer and EPC ContractorSupport all Consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality Plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all Quality matters.Develops and implement audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits.Develops statistical reports on Quality performance.Identifies and communicate lessons learned through the programmed lifecycle.Manages the programmed quality control testing service.Coordinates and manages any 3rd party audits as required.Develop and implement together with EPC’s QC manager a Quality Management System in the project inaccordance with quality requirements of the contract, specifications and Standards.Develop the monthly quality report of the Project.Verify directly or indirectly together with the Quality teams and ensure complete procedures.Ensure all requirements of quality prescribed by implementing suitable program points of inspection and test plans.Attend to Kick of Meeting (KOM) together with Contractor’s QC manager and Suppliers/Subcontracts.Ensuring with QC Coordinator that the subcontractors concerned have the specifications, procedures, guideline and standards to be used for the project.Ensure that all staff receive adequate train.ActivitésIdeally, as a Quality Site Manager you would possess the following: Previous experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPPP) Project Bidding, Award to Financial Close, Construction and OperationsA Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is recommended.Minimum 5 years of Quality management experience in the power generation industry.Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skillsExperience with managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to all QA/QC functions.Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, deficiencies, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.Quality Culture behaviors (rigorous, systematic, prudent approach, questioning attitude and good communication as an example for the organizationUnderstanding ISO 9001 and related Quality Standards and conceptsKnowledge of Battery energy Storage Systems (BESS) preferred.Experience of performing audits is an assetWillingness to be located on remote sites.Driver's licenseContexte et environnementTotalEnergies gross low-carbon power generation capacity worldwide is currently close to 10 gigawatts.
