- Join Jem HR, an early-stage HR technology startup, as an account executive
- Drive Monthly Revenue through finding, managing and closing ICP opportunities helping us 3x our Revenue in 2024

- Based in-office, at least 3 days per week in Cape Town or Johannesburg
- Experience in Start-ups: We have a preference for people who've thrived in start-ups or high-growth environments, where scrappiness, resourcefulness and self-sufficiency are rewarded. If this is not you, how can you demonstrate this to us.
- Hungry to earn commission: You must want to make sales. Lots of sales. If you want to make real money, this is your role.
- Organised and process-driven: You need to be able to keep your CRM up to date, follow processes, and manage complex sales pipelines with precision.
- Proven B2B sales experience: Ideally, you’ve sold B2B SaaS before. You know the playbooks and have learnt the lessons. You have proven sales experience and can hit the ground running. You should have a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Disciplined: You know what to do and when and you stick to your word. You prioritise high-value activities, avoid distractions, and are clear with what you need to do to move the needle and make sales.
- Growth mindset: You should want to be the best B2B SaaS salesperson in SA. You look for feedback and are consistently finding ways to improve your craft. You love reading, listening and learning about sales.
- Resilience: This is not easy. People will turn you down. To succeed, you should be able to show endurance and adaptability in challenging sales environments.
- Curiosity: You need to have a curious mindset and want to learn more about the industry, the people and the why. You are interested and interesting. insights and broad general knowledge.
- Engagement Skills: You should have the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients, including seasoned professionals outside the tech-savvy sphere. You have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. You are clear communicator.
