- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Stay informed about the company’s products, services, and industry trends
- Manage select key clients for the Company
- Proactively drive volumes and trade deals with large key clients
- Develop, nurture client relationships in all regions
- Recruit, train, and manage a high performing sale team
- Act as an ambassador for the business
- Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of success
- Experience of the Advertising and Media Industry will be beneficial but not a prerequisite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be able to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team member s and senior management.
- Ability to inspire and guide a diverse sale team.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A good understanding South African economy and market dynamics
- Strong negotiations skills and ability to close deals.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office
