- Navigate the regulatory landscape: Manage quarterly and annual regulatory submissions, collaborating with actuarial and tax teams to ensure compliance.
- Maintain payroll accuracy: Review payroll data, track staff costs, and contribute to BBBEE reporting.
- Lead and mentor: Oversee the accuracy of general ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring adherence to cost allocation frameworks.

- A Chartered Accountant (SA) designation or equivalent qualification.
- Solid financial reporting expertise: A strong understanding of IFRS and the ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports. IFRS 17 exposure highly preferable
- Analytical prowess: You can dissect complex financial data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights.
- Technical proficiency: You are highly skilled in Excel and comfortable working with financial services industry software.
- Leadership qualities: Your ability to review, mentor, and ensure accuracy will be instrumental in the team’s success.
- Exceptional communication: You can clearly and concisely present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
