- Develop and implement a social media paid content strategy that supports takealot.com's Marketing objectives (with external counsel/workshop from brand strategy partners where required). Integrating Paid and Organic, with Paid strategic & implementation support from our Head of Performance Marketing and external agency.
- Run, Optimise, and Manage Takealot's performance channels with a core focus across Paid Social, and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with other departments to direct the marketing priorities that enable business success across paid social & other paid media channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with our commercial partners at an account manager level and advise on best practices across performance and organic media channels.
- Develop & execute Paid Social Media strategies for key business categories
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to align organic & paid strategies and campaigns across social media.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to build channel-specific content plans that engage and excite followers across all social media channels
- Execute all commercial paid campaigns as booked by the Advertising or Retail Marketing teams
- Technical implementation of campaign strategies (campaign setup, bidding strategy executions, and feedback loop), and A/B test across all performance marketing channels.
- Run, Optimize and Manage our campaign sets across various channels(Google, Facebook, TikTok etc) and platforms (web + app)
- Develop, scale, and continuously refine and optimize our campaign strategy for the future, ensuring our full-funnel marketing strategy complements each performance channel.
- Plot out the category-specific growth across digital channels, identifying strategic growth audiences and building a high-quality category-specific media plan.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities with the ability to converse with all levels of management about their approach.
- A strong problem-solving and solution-orientated mindset.
- Attention to detail in all levels of their approach to campaign management. (Campaign set up and reporting)
- E-commerce experience (Required)
- A tertiary qualification is required preferably in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a campaign manager role.
- Certifications: Google Ads (Required) Google Analytics (Required) DoubleClick (Beneficial)
- Experience on the following platforms:
- Google Ads (Required) - Includes Search(Required), Shopping(Required), Discover(Beneficial), YouTube(Required), and App Campaign (Beneficial)
- Google Marketing Platform: (Having experience across all is beneficial but not required)
- SA360 (Beneficial)
- DV360 and CM360 (Beneficial)
- GA360 (Beneficial) and GA4(Beneficial)
- Experience on the following platforms Social Platforms:
- Meta Ads ( Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp) (Required)
- TikTok (Required)
- Snapchat (Beneficial)
