We are looking for a Junior accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in the medical industry.Qualifications and Knowledge- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Essential).- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field (Essential).- Knowledgeable in healthcare laws regarding ethics, business practices, and collections.- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, Google Cloud, medical software like MedEdi and, accounting software like Xero.- Excel in spreadsheet management, data entry, and analysis.Key Responsibilities- Ensure financial health by managing transactions, records, and data analysis.- Prepare and oversee financial statements and revenue management.- Track income, expenditure, and tax liabilities- Handle accounts receivable and implement collection strategies.- Optimize billing accuracy and enhance cash flow.Skills and Attributes- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.- Effective decision-making, organizational, and time management skills.- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.- Demonstrates initiative and active listening.Start Date: As soon as possible.Working Hours:Mondays to Fridays: 8AM – 5PMRemuneration:R25,000.00 – R30,000.00 CTC (Depending on experience.
