- Prepare, compile, and consolidate financial statements, including the generation of trial balances and reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy in all reconciliations and the timely updates of accruals and journal entries.
- Handle cost allocations for payments and deposits, managing all payment processes including cheques and electronic fund transfers, and co-sign payments with the Financial Manager.
- Oversee fixed assets, including calculating additions, disposals and depreciation, aligning physical assets with the asset register and ensuring depreciation calculations align with nominal accounts.
- Manage outstanding vehicle debtors, addressing queries promptly and meeting specified timelines.
- Support Financial and Departmental Managers in preparing daily, operational and annual financial reports within deadlines.
- Administer insurance matters, investigating claims, managing third-party payments and ensuring accurate recovery of excesses.
- Conduct stock reconciliations, including vehicle, parts, and asset stock-takes, processing credit notes, resolving discrepancies, and reflecting stock accurately in the nominal ledger.
- Calculate depreciation on demo/mobility vehicles and ensure proper accounting against Net Realizable Value.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors in finalizing audits.
- Review FSP calculations and manage cash flow effectively.
- Maintain departmental organization by filing and archiving financial documents for easy access.
- Ensure adherence to always accounting policies and procedures.
- Completed BCom in Accounting and related field.
- Completed Matric.
