Senior Maintenance Foreman/Manager

• Millwright or Electrician with a valid Trade Certificate.
• Additional certifications such as ECA or a Wireman’s license are preferable.

• 10-15 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong safety orientation and knowledge of regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective team player with robust project management capabilities.
• Proficient problem solver, able to address issues swiftly under pressure.

• Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure they are completed on time and to standard.
• Compliance and Standards: Enforce strict adherence to all statutory regulations and safety standards, including updates to the OHS Act compliance within departmental workshops.
• Scheduling and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive work schedules for maintenance staff to maximize productivity.
• Budget and Cost Management: Control expenses related to maintenance operations, including procurement and supplier evaluation.
• Maintenance Protocols: Coordinate and maintain the planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Technical and Project Oversight: Provide technical guidance on capital projects and oversee troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Innovation and Technology: Keep updated with the latest electrical technologies and innovations for enhanced operational efficiency and safety.
