The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to coordinate departmental operational service delivery obligations as required by the CSC (Corporate Service Centre) service level agreement and supervise staff.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years relevant administrative experience in a Human Resource environemt. A valid code B (or higher) driving licence. Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

Key Performance AreasOperationalise the monitoring, assessment and reporting on the service delivery of the CSC to the department in terms of the CSC-service level agreement; Operationalise and facilitate the periodic internal review of the CSC-service level agreement to ensure that the department’s service delivery requirements are met; Operationalise the departmental operational service delivery obligations as required by the CSC - service level agreement (SLA); Coordinate the departmental operational service delivery obligations as required in the CSC service level agreement; People Management.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Monitoring and evaluation methods, tools and techniques; Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources; Principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; Project management; Legislative and regulatory requirements, policies and standards; Public management and administration; Relationship management. Skills needed: Numeracy; Literacy; Computer Literacy; Language skills; Project Management; Legal Administration; Strategic planning; Planning and Organising.
RemunerationR 444 036 per annum (Level 9)Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
