Maintenance Specialist

• Must have a technical trade certificate (Millwright or Electrical) or relevant qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in the FMCG industry or automated food or beverages manufacturing environment.

• Perform scheduled and planned preventative maintenance in both Cosmetics Filling and Plastics Injection Moulding Plants.
• Mechanical, electrical fault finding and repair of equipment to standard.
• General maintenance on equipment in the factory with the goal to keep production going.
• Previous knowledge and experience on automated lines including piston and gear filling units, rotary capping units, diaphragm / lobe / centrifugal pumps will be essential to the role.
• Candidates should be familiar with the use of different utility and end technologies used such as, homogenizes, injection molding machines, chillers (refrigerated and evaporation) and screw air compressors.
• Overtime and standby need to be worked as required with the position requiring the candidate to support night shifts where required.
