• BCom/ BCompt / Finance degree
• SAIPA qualification advantageous
• Tax practitioner with current knowledge (advantageous)
• Highly intelligent and a problem solver
• 8+ years accounting experience (5+ years in management)
• Professional written English for supplier and customer communication
• Emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines

• Sage Evolution Experience
• Pastel Payroll Partner
• SARS Efiling (including EMP201, EMP501, VAT201, etc.) and SARS Easyfile experience
• Microsoft Office - intermediate level (pivot-tables, V-Lookup, linking formulas)

• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Oversee the Bank & Cash function including assisting with payment approvals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare regular reports (weekly/monthly) including sales, inventory, cash reconciliations, and payroll.
• Compile monthly management accounts and generate quarterly reports.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and credit lines.
• Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
• Prepare and present financial statements to management and stakeholders.
• Preparing budgets and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with departments to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Audit preparation
• Compile tax packs
• Preparing and filing statutory returns - VAT/EMP201/EMP501/etc.
