- Supervise and lead the administrative team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Manage the store's financial transactions, including cash handling, banking, and reconciliation.
- Ensure effective budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage store expense budgets through daily, weekly, and monthly processes.
- Analyse, resolve and provide feedback on expense reports.
- Escalate exceptions on expense accounts and resolve where possible.
- Analyse and report on in-store profit drivers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, expenses, and other financial transactions
- Prepare and analyse reports on store performance, financial metrics, and administrative efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize risk through process compliance.
- Ensure compliance to store controls and processes (e.g. system access and keys)
- Identify risk through analysing and reporting to ensure audit compliance.
- Ensure Discrepancy Control and compliance from all departments.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as HR, Finance, and Operations, to support store operations and initiatives.
- Ensure retention of records (e.g. HR, Finance, Cash analysis and legal and Ops reports as per legislation.
- Manage shrinkage.
- Ensure effective implementation by formulating action plans.
- Action outcomes as per shrinkage plans.
- Analyse high/out of tolerance shrinkage lines.
- Follow up on all outcomes.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations related to administrative matters.
- Ensure compliance to Consumer Protection Act.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain activities, including ordering office supplies and managing vendor relationships.
- Implement and maintain efficient administrative processes and systems to support the store's operations.
- Provide administrative support to the Store Manager and other senior management as required.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety protocols within the store premises.
- Minimum of 3 years admin management experience within the retail industry.
- Must be an SA citizen.
- Must have their own reliable source of transport.
- R15 000 – R 20 000 per month.
