Adviser Assistant (Claims / Underwriting) - KurumanFull job descriptionJob description:The Adviser Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and managing the underwriting, claims, and administration processes and to assist the broker.Responsibilities:Liaising with clientsPrepare new business and commercial quotesIssuing new policies, renewals, and endorsementsNegotiating renewal terms and preparing the renewal documentationRegister and process claimsRecordkeeping (electronic)Provide regular feedback to relevant parties (client/stakeholders)Obtaining the correct information from clients, recording details and information accurately on the relevant systemsProvide administrative supportSkill sets required:Grade 12Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)RE 5 Examination (Representatives)NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification, alternatively studying towards such a qualificationDOFA confirmation from FSCAPersonal and Commercial lines experienceA minimum of 2 years working experience within the Insurance industryGood verbal and written communication skills (English and at least one other official South African language)Good administration, organisation, and planning skillsGood multi-tasking and time management skillsHighly reliable, adaptable, and resilientHighly client-focused with good interpersonal skillsCandidates interested must apply on Indeed no later than 22 April 2024.
