Mining Equipment Sales Executive

Develop plans to successfully complete the projects in a timely and cost-effective manner by assuring all required information from customers, engineering, tooling, quality and production are considered in the planning stages.Maintain process parameters and adjust as required.Assist in the cost estimating and quoting of new and/or revised products by initiating the quote according to specifications, determining process methods, the equipment required and optimum rates.Responsible for mechanical design and redesign, including equipment and machinery.Lead in the identification and implementation of effective solutions that will improve the manufacturing process and capabilities. Develop and redesign facility layouts in support of this objective. Promote continuous process improvements.Assist in the resolution of production problems by acting as a troubleshooter on all the existing processes at the assigned facility and/or department as need arises; supervisor will notify.Develop and maintain all supporting documents of activities in an organized manner for easy retrieval for review and consideration.Develop and implement employee training on new processes and equipment with documentation to assure optimum operation and employee safety.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESMay supervise Engineers and Technicians. Position interfaces with peers, production employees and other company managers.Proficient with CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor)Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, general business periodicals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and lead a team.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget; effectively manages project team activities.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. Presents numerical data effectively.
