strategic & operational decision–making across the Commercial and Operations areas of the businessKey Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial advice and support.
- Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial expertise in evaluating business opportunities, investments, and projects.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in finance and business partnering.
- Support the Finance team in month-end close, financial reporting, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Honours Degree (preferably B.Com Accounting or Management Accounting) or equivalent and
- Qualified CA (SA) or CIMA
- MBA will be advantageous
