Crane Millwright

• Be qualified as a millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & Science
• Be pro-active, hardworking and demonstrate high levels of flexibility
• Be able to work under pressure and give attention to detail
• Be able to work without direct supervision
• Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills
• Have a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledge
• Be computer literate
• Have three to five years post apprentice work experience as a millwright
• Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights
• Be willing to work overtime as requested
• Must be willing to do standby
• Have extensive knowledge of electrical circuits

• LMI certification or studying towards its completion will be added advantage

• Cranes Millwright is responsible for all Engineering First Line Maintenance, Daily Inspections and Repairs in their assigned section in the plant area
• The task they perform must at all times be focused to improve production and product quality and to eliminate breakdowns
• When a breakdown occurs, they will be the first line of defense and must ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum
