Our client is a high volume manufacturing client in FMCG.QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Supply chain/Warehouse Management ORDiploma/Degree in Transport and logistics Management ORIndustrial Engineering Diploma/Degree (added advantage) OROperations Management Diploma/Degree (added advantage)ExperienceMust have at least 10year’s experience as a Supply chain/Warehouse ManagerExperience managing inbound (freight clearing, forwarding and receipting) and outbound logistics (dispatch and distribution)Experience with forecasting and allocationsManagement of outsourcing and value add processesExperience implementing and working with warehouse management systems and tools – Warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceabilityFull responsibility for inventory control and procedures (on site and off site) – Cycle counting, month end stock counts and recons, Annual auditing (external)Supplier contract negotiating (pricing, annual review, audits and evaluation)Manage staff compliment of 15 peopleMust have a good understanding of production and process flowsAdherence to Quality systems (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001)Computer literate – MS office and SYSPRO is essentialMust have excel and know how to calculate formulasPersonnel attributesAbility to work under pressure and multitaskAccurate, precise and attention to detailAbility to identify areas of improvement and implement changeMust be firm but fair (people management and disciplines)Structured approach and problem - solving skillsMust see the big pictureWilling to be on call when their are deadlines to meetIf you have not heard from us within 10 days of applying for this role, you were unfortunately not shortlisted.
