- Help with regulatory reporting as and when required
- Help in preparing annual Group budget
- Ad hoc tasks that may be required from time to time
- Review of and support for technical working papers that serve as input to the annual financial statements and integrated report
- Technical project involvement
- IFRS 17 implementation
- Documenting guidelines, processes, and procedures where appropriate
- Matric
- BCom Accounting or equivalent
- BCom Accounting Honors/CTA
- CA(SA)
- 2-3 years’ experience
- Experience in the insurance/financial industry
- Understands technical or professional aspects of work and continually maintains technical knowledge (e.g., IFRS)
- Strong technical skills
- A desire to add value and make a difference
- The ability to manage stress, pressure and competing demands
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- A self-starter who can run independently with complex projects
