Monthly Journals to reconcile balance sheet: shareholders’ interest; provisions; tax; depreciation,
etc.
VAT: recons & submissions
PAYE: recons & submissions
Compliance: Workmen’s compensation, Employment Equity etc.
4. Payroll
Capture monthly payroll
EMP201 Recons and submissions
EMP501 Recons
Bi-annual and annual IRP5 submissions
5. Reporting and monitoring
Compile monthly management report and shareholders’ pack in Excel for various entities
Compile monthly reporting in Excel to funders
Monitor budgets and cashflow
Annual audit preparations
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Education
A SAIPA completed articles is desirable, or
A B.Comm degree with accounting or similar degree
2. Experience
A minimum 3 to 5 years accounts experience
3. Specific Knowledge
Advanced Excel is non-negotiable (a test will be given)
Experience working in Xero and Sage Payroll but not a must
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles
