Job Summary Beaver Plant Hire, a plant hire and roadworks construction company in the Helderberg Area, currently has a vacancy for a plant mechanic with experience in maintaining a fleet of construction plant and machinery. Responsibilities: * diagnose, repair and maintain a fleet of roadworks construction plant, equipment and vehicles i.e. Grader/TLB/Bitumen Distributor/Rollers etc. * perform routine maintenance on fleet - oil changes, filters etc. * maintain workshop area and staff * good record keeping Requirements: * experience as a diesel mechanic in heavy machinery * own tools * valid drivers license * contactable references * must reside in the Somerset West/ Strand or nearby surrounding areas.
