Key Performance AreasManage the functional operations with regard to compliance, performance managment and capacity building in the supply chain management environment; Ensure the rendering of an effective and efficient demand management and acquisition management service; Manage and administer contracts; Provide support to potential service providers and line managers; Plan and manage the work of and account for the overal performance of the subdirectorate; People management; Financial management.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Procurement and provisioning services; Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and its associated regulations, practice notes and circulars; Public Sercice Anti-corruption strategy; Supply chain management guide to accounting officers and authorities; Delegation frameworks, sevice level agreements, supplier management, contract management, strategic sourcing, departmental policies and procedures and government financial systems; Public sector supply chain management models and processes; Procurement and tendering processes; Project management; Public Finance Management Act (PFMA); National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions, financial delegations and best practice in the Public Service; Skills needed: Numeracy and literacy; Proven compter literacy; Written and verbal communication skills; Project Management; Accounting, finance and auditing; Economical and statistical analysis; Legal administration.
RemunerationAll-inclusive salary package of R 849 702 per annum (Salary Level 11)Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
