Job SummaryPurpose
  • An experienced programme manager to manage and deliver the multi-year programme of strategic &operational online projects, from opportunity phase through to implementation and review phase.
  • The ideal candidate will have an astute business mind and a proven ability to translate strategy into execution through the delivery of programme initiatives. They will be a strong leader, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and ability to delegate and manage to achieve success through others.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Shape, implement, and maintain the Online Fulfilment Programme to meet the organisational objectives, ensuring senior stakeholder are informed and aligned.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, consisting of both internal and external resources ensuring that the programme goals are achieved.
  • Manage the overall programme to ensure it delivers within time, budget and quality so that it produces the desired benefits.
  • Ensure that all project in the programme is landed effectively into the operational environment, identifying and addressing systemic risks.
  • Develop and implement programme processes for assessing success and introducing improvement.
Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the new business development team, project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and project managers to plan and deliver new initiatives.
  • Align the resources requirements, work plan, budget, and timing all new initiatives to form part of a coherent programme delivery.
  • Identify key programme requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage the programme budget along with stakeholders to deliver against the business goals.
  • Work with other programme and project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the business area.
  • Understand and provide feedback and reporting to manage key stakeholders' expectations relative to programme execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, relevant industry qualifications.
  • 5+ years in a management role (preference given to those with programme management experience), with a track record of working through others to deliver complex and interdependent initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Preference for experience working in Retail and/ or a Digital environment.
  • Strong experience landing complex change of change into a national operational environment.
