- This role will be servicing global clients so working hours may be affected.
- Following appropriate testing strategy for software projects and products, including functional, automation, performance and acceptance strategies.
- Working with engineering teams to help them build end to end acceptance testing and unit testing for application as part of the overall testing strategy.
- Be able to implement appropriate test automation framework architecture in a given technology stack and business domain.
- Designing and implementing test scenarios and plans
- Communicate proactively with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure software quality issues are addressed in a timely manner, taking into account the software release cycle and priorities.
- Providing quality mindset guidance to other engineers on the Global team
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an engineer.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a test/QA engineer.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and techniques including building Web, Mobile and API.test automation from scratch.
- A passion for software testing and a drive to continuously improve quality assurance processes.
- Experience in tools -
- SDLC - GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar
- Automation - TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured
- Cloud Platform - AWS
