Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and goal-driven Sales Manager to lead our talented team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. As a Sales Manager, your goal will be to build long-term relationships with customers to ensure the success and sustainability of the organization's sales efforts. What youâ€ll do: Managing product/service pricing and margins Manage the company CRM system and sales reporting from CRM system Assist with tender response and compliance Managing accounts and meeting or exceeding targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services, sales, customer retention and customer acquisition. Validating, responding to and managing incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner. Working with and expanding current potential client database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads exceed sales targets for the business. Adhering to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of customers, opportunities and submission of tender and contract documents. Bid management processing, managing order levels and maintaining the CRM database. Providing regular feedback to senior management regarding sales activities. Developing effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identifying and obtaining further sales and business development opportunities. Applying standard operating procedures in preparing bids, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process form opportunity identification to customer sign off. Managing the sales and sales support employees (Sales Executives) by leading and coaching them and assisting where required with proposals and presentations. Performing additional work outputs related to the role. Your expertise: Function-related experience: 5 years plus experience in Business Development Leading teams: 5 years plus Projects experience: 5 years plus Other experience: 5 years in Microsoft Office and relevant industry experience Qualifications: Matric Certificate Sales Degree or equivalent Business Management Degree or equivalent Other information applicable to the opportunity: Permanent Position Location: Midrand Work Environment: Office (occasionally) and Client Sites / Regionals / Africa Travel: Weekly travel to client sites ÂIOCORecruiter
