This role is not just about ticking boxes; it's about safeguarding the integrity of the business and facilitating its growth through meticulous compliance oversight.Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a robust compliance culture and awareness within the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial services legislation, particularly in insurance and credit.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Perform compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting with precision and expertise.Requirements:- An LLB or compliance related qualification.
- A deep, practical understanding of regulatory compliance laws across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on long-term insurance and loans.
- Established relationships with key regulatory bodies such as the FSCA and NCR.
- A history of working effectively within fast-paced, agile environments, demonstrating high energy and resilience.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial services sector, with hands-on experience in compliance roles.
