- Job Description
- Effective installations And De-installations of sophisticated electronic equipment into various types of vehicles (tracking systems, emergency lights, electronic speed controllers.)
- Conduct Quality Assurance, Audits, Inspections and sign off on all suppliers work on company assets.
- Manage and maintain Data accuracy on tracking platforms.
- Stock control/management and administrative duties.
- Weekly and monthly report generation for usage.
- Assist on Ad hoc reporting on client request.
- Identify exceptions and resolve them.
- Represent Fleet Africa at internal and external customers and suppliers regarding technical (mechanical) issues and support.
- Technical support to customers: Fleet Africa fleet
- Maintaining supplier management.
- Application and specification assessment.
- Recoveries and warranty claims assessments.
- Cost savings on major repair assessments.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Vehicle Tracking/Fleet Management/Fleet Logistics/Supply Chain Relevant Industry.
- Relevant Industry body professional membership an added advantage
- Knowledge of Technical Applications
- Understanding of different tracking systems
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum N6 Level technical
- Qualified mechanic (petrol/diesel or mechatronic or Auto Electrician)
- Certificate in Automotive Electronics/Motor Mechanic will be an Added advantage.
