- In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating with customers on outstanding AR balances, open invoices, and collection
- Booking incoming payments into the accounting system
- Check consumer credit reports, approve or deny applications and communicate decisions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Communicating with department managers on outstanding AR balances
- Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collections procedures as necessary.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Processing and cashing out checks
- Additional tasks when needed
- Well versed in use of computers and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with key internal and external colleagues in other branches of South Africa
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid growth
- Relevant College degree or equivalent will be an advantage
- Previous experience in finance and accounting
