  • In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Communicating with customers on outstanding AR balances, open invoices, and collection
  • Booking incoming payments into the accounting system
  • Check consumer credit reports, approve or deny applications and communicate decisions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with department managers on outstanding AR balances
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collections procedures as necessary.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Processing and cashing out checks
  • Additional tasks when needed
To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following qualifications: * Knowledge and skills in Excel, and Outlook
  • Well versed in use of computers and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Efficient and accurate data entry skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with key internal and external colleagues in other branches of South Africa
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid growth
  • Relevant College degree or equivalent will be an advantage
Pluses * Experience working with Babbage and BCM online portal
  • Previous experience in finance and accounting
