- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years working experience with cross border freight consolidation experience
- Understanding of basic INCO terms, SARS customs entries, bill of landing, SAD500's, etc.
- Generate tracking and cargo movement reports in line with SOP's
- Oversee collection and delivery of cargo into and out of the warehouse
- Load and create job on system to provide accurate tracking, updates, manage border clearance delays, etc.
- Prepare accurate quotes based on calculating volume weight vs actual weight and deck space and understand who to quote for add on services like collections, documentation, etc.
- Liaising and communicating with customers, suppliers, internal and external clearing agents, stakeholders and external departments like shipping lines, bureau Veritas, etc. regarding permits, updates. delays, damages or changes
- Good understanding of remover in bond cargo, air freight, sea freight and cross border road freight exports, route planning, etc.
