,We have an opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a vibrant team on the forefront of “IoT” development worldwide.We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the R&D team with skills and a passion for C programming for embedded controllers.As a Durban based company acting on the international stage our client is looking for people who are keen to share in their passion for making a difference in their field.You will get a wide range of exposure to modern technologies ranging from embedded software development in C and JavaScript, web design, analogue and digital electronics design, electronics production and systems engineering.Requirements:

Bsc Engineering degree or B.Tech
2 to 5 years' experience in embedded software and hardware development

Desirable Skills:

Proficient in ANSI C software development. C++ experience is advantageous
Experience with real-time embedded operating systems
Exposure to the ARM microcontroller family, and a willingness to work with the hardware and make it sing
Exposure to professional software development practices such as use of revision control systems, GIT, various IDE's, code walk throughs and unit testing
Excellent communications skills
An artistic talent of some form would not do any harm either
